‘Intwana kaMahoota’ is a song adapted from his upcoming self titled “The Mzu LP” album, following up on the Xhosa rapper’s last offering “The Mzu EP” which featured the likes of Zakwe and Reason. It pays tribute to his late brother Sibusiso nicknamed Mahoota. It is also a word play on Mahoota the dj as this was his brother’s favorite dj back in the early 2000’s.
Because of this he grew up listening to the likes which makes him Intwana kaMahoota both literally and figuratively. The song is also a tribute to the new school sound with its low tempo trappy beat. ‘The Mzu LP is set to be released in May.
